Applying Quality Improvement in Health Care: Putting QI Principles into Action
This
two-day seminar and optional half-day workshop present effective strategies for tailoring state-of-the-art quality improvement, operational research, and management science principles to individual health care organizations’ needs. Topics include: improving staff satisfaction and patient outcomes, identifying techniques for service demand forecasting, developing fair productivity measures, and balancing staff and patient loads via “real-time” scheduling. The program is taught by experts from UC San Diego and Georgia Tech, and is designed for middle- to senior-level health care administrators, medical directors, and operations managers.
